In need of a brewery tour we arrived at Magic Hat for the 2pm tour. The tour and the beer was “meh”, except for the how the beer is made video which had Malty and Hoppy as characters in the video.

At the suggestion of Señor Paul we went to Fiddlehead Brewing which was a little way down the road from Burlington. The standouts were their Regular IPA, Mastermind IPA and Locating Satellites. Jeff approves despite his facial expression.

Up to this point we have been lax in our usual pattern of drinking beer before noon on these trips, but today that changed! We started our day at Switchback. They had some pretty solid beers with their amber and pale ale but the rest of their beers were smoked

After leaving our stuff at our ghetto Air B&B in Burlington, we made our way to Foam Brewers. A small place with a 7 barrel brew system and 7 fermenters they had several really tasty hazy IPAs and a really nice sour.
