Brostrip 2.0

Needing food to finish off the day we took the reccomendation of the bartender at Hops and Grain and ended up here. And yet again, the place was warm as can be. Does A/C not exist here?

After having some of the Hops and Grain beers at the Draught House the other night we decided to try their beers at the source. They had a stellar lager and IPA as well as a lot of other quality beers. 

Barrels and barrels and barrels…. Jester Kings Coolship that they use to make their mixed wild fermented beer Spöhn.  Jester King was quite the place!  The set up was impressive for such a small brewery that only makes 2000 barrels of beer a year.  We sampled their sours as well

Beers on beers on beers.  Wha?!  Yep, that’s us in Southwest Brewing News found at each brewery we go to.  First stop of the day was Live Oak Brewing. We tried tasters of all their beers with the Pale Ale, IPA and Hefe being the stand outs. 

Needing a good base layer for the day we went out for Migas. 

Jeff has never seen Ace Ventura?? And I was better off because I had not.  

And Cameron spent the rest of the night watching it on YouTube. 

So many taps. So much sausage.  Poutine for everyone!!! Sausage fest! We went to dinner at Bangers Beer Garden where we had some fancy sausages: bacon and shrimp sausage over cheddar grits, a duck and fig sausage and Cameron suffered thru a specialty sausage served over…..Israeli Couscous….

Paul brought us some NE IPAs to sample.
